Muditha Halliyadde

Muditha Halliyadde is experienced in trial matters involving creditor’s rights, business and civil litigation. She has broad experience in litigation, counseling, international trade negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Muditha earned her Doctorate in Law in 2015 from Indiana University, Maurer Law School and her LLM in 2012 from Indiana University. She also earned an LLM in Legal Theory in 2006 from Katholic University, Belgium, and her Bachelor of Law degree, in 2000 from Colombo University, Sri Lanka.

Muditha has written and lectured on various international legal topics relating primarily to conflict resolution, diplomacy, terrorism, and peace studies. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, and Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys.

Muditha is a former career diplomat of Sri Lanka to the European Union and to the United Nations. In this role, Muditha engaged in international negotiations, resolving disarmament human rights issues. Mudhitha is fluent in English, French, Sinhala and Tamil.

She is admitted to practice in the Western District of New York State.
